Neville and Giggs' New Restaurant

just been in george`s tonight, giggs was eating in there with his wife, kids and few friends. the food was very good but the service was very slow but the manager gave us a complimentary bottle of wine for the delay. in fairness although slow the staff were friendly and were trying their best, needs time to settle down but the staff should have been trained before it was open.

This is a joke right?

I went there the other day and ordered the beef covered with Arthur Aaalbistoooo, but they had seasoned it with too much fergie thyme!

It should be called the Rat and the Cheetah,

Excellent shout

I believe they serve Bird's Nest Soup..

but only someone else's bird

This can be followed by welsh Rarebit on the side

Followed by a family-sized portion of anchovy chowder.. drizzled with a one off Sports Personality of the Year special sauce (bitter and with backnotes of hypocracy)

Neville has yet to suggest recipes and beginning to have doubts about the project after the waft of bacon and whiskey has been replaced by the unmistakable smell of cooked goose in the kitchen

-- Wed Dec 25, 2013 1:37 am --

The article includes wonderful sections such as the following:

The "treble pies", however, weren't "pretty good" at all; in fact they were "bloody awful" and more like something you'd expect to find in a petrol station fridge than a proper restaurant. The curried chicken, the beef 'n' ale (or was it white spirit?) and the cheese 'n' vegetable were lukewarm, flaky and sparsely filled. They were presented within a box emblazed with Fergie's famous, "Football... Bloody hell" line and are certainly the most miserable way either Ryan or Gary will ever commemorate their 1999 treble.

The 'review' is as wholly sardonic as you'd expect from Vice and thoroughly enjoyable because of it.
