New 3rd Shirt

No originality just an the same as last years away kit but with blue instead of red. Disappointed from Umbro personally thought they would've wanted to leave with a bit of a bang.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I would've loved to see a twist on this kit.

Quite nice that. I love the sky blue numbers and names.

Can anyone tell me what colour the numbers will be on the maroon shirt? They looked as smart as fuck in the Charity Shield. Is there a difference in what we're allowed to wear in the Premier League?
i could be wrong but I read that the PL do not allow the gold lettering and numbers for PL games

the community shield was not a PL game hence the lovely colouring
im pretty sure arsenal had gold numbering in there final season at highbury

will we be wearing that kit in the league? we will need to against villa and west ham

The numbering in the CS was YELLOW, not gold and based on the UEFA regulations, not the Premier league regulations.

Prem, colours allowed: White, black, navy blue, gold, red.

UEFA comps: any colour allowed as long as it contrasts with the colour of the shirt by a certain optical contrast reading. We have had YELLOW numbers and names made to match the trim and sponsorship logos.

I don't know about the regulations for domestic cup competitions.

It is likely that in premier league games the numbering will be white, putting the gold numbers on (as in the champions 12 home shirts at the end of last season) looks shite as it's different to the yellow trim and logos on the kit. I agree with the majority, the yellow UEFA competition numbers look better.

i like

It's very lazy from umbro in my opinion, three kits in a month is just scalping the families n all at least stagger release until we actually play in europe! I aint a fan of any of the last few kits and think Umbro blew it within a season with the classic home and third shirts.
At least it isnt mockney tartan puke like the rags :)

I'm not a fan of the shirt at all.

I had hoped that the days when we started playing in an alien non-City kit were gone. I don't recognise us at all in that.

Red and black stripes, maroon, white, the sash, even at a push navy blue - surely we could stick to one of those each year and put and end to these awful kits forever.

WTF?

On a brighter note from the Champions League draw, we'll be able to wear our Euro away shirt for the 3 away matches.

Or the home kit six times.
