On a brighter note from the Champions League draw, we'll be able to wear our Euro away shirt for the 3 away matches.
Or the home kit six times.

^^ This

Why is there any need to wear anything but Blue?

why cash in on 2 kits when 3 is possible? FFP, fair for fans.

Will we wear our third kit at home like the Toon and other European clubs often do? Loss of identity.

I think we'll most likely wear it against Madrid and Ajax. Dortmund there's no need to change.

Just bought mine on the weekend - in Canada. It's a bit odd that we're getting it while the pre-sale is still on the OS. The downside is no free scarf, and no options for numbers, champions league logo etc. Even odder is we actually went into the local store that carries Umbro to get the new home shirt - which they still don't have.

Shirt looks great. Just wish there had been a bit more blue in it - it's more of a black and grey shirt.

Fake

Speaking of shirts, what names would you still get printed on your? the risks of course are the player leaving the club and thus ruining your shirt (unless you peel off the lettering as I did with my tevez shirt), but what player's name would you still get printed?

I'd only go with Kompany

I got Clichy on mine!

Do you reckon we may have dropped a bollock here? Should we learn from lessons (cough excuses) of others that have dabbled with a grey looking kit?

Thought the same thing, especially given EVERY game is at night under the lights. Originally thought it might have been better to have a LIGHT coloured shirt (like the white with diagonal stripes!), but the home team shirts in Group D(eath) would make that difficult. However, sky blue or maroon would work just fine against any of these kits!! Go figure....one last pay day for Umbro and allows us to market an entire line of black tops, T-shirts and jackets (love me that jacket!!).

And, COULD we even play in black and grey stripes, vice sky blue, against this kit?
