New breed of away fan

Saw it again today with kids goading Chelsea fans who were just minding their own business. Chelsea rent boys was the go to abusive screaming. And then they were told to fuck off etc. Most older fans don’t say anything to these kids as they don’t want to become the focus of their bile or fists.

And there were a group Chelsea fans goading City fans after the game on Wembley way chanting “your just a shit Man Utd”. We all just laughed it off before reminding them of what we tend to do to Cockney teams on the football pitch.

How was it yesterday, any nonsense or all civilised?

I was in the Green Man before the game and everyone was having a good time. I saw a few people who accidentally nudged into another Blue apologise immediately lol. Virtually everyone had had a good few beers (and some other substances no doubt) and I did t see a spot of bother. It was the same on the concourse at Wembley.

The funniest moment in the Green Man was when a load of Blues jumped up to celebrate a Utd goal only for it to be ruled offside.

I guess there will have been the odd unsavoury incident but I just didn’t see any.

A Coach carrying City supporters back to Glossop/Hadfield was pelted by Chelsea Fans on the Yellow Car Park after the game. The Coach glass was shattered and the Fans had to relocate onto other coaches

Great atmosphere in the Green Man yesterday, all in good spirits. Saw a few drinks hurled into the air by those chanting songs in the middle, but hardly worth worrying about. The best thing about the day was the sunshine. The several beer huts meant it easy to get served and the outside loos also meant no queueing up. Was glad when we got allocated the west side as the Green man is the best pub to drink in I think.

And yes, watching the game inside most blues were urging the rags to score, I know I was.
