Aye that's what I meant by the ex rag idea but couldn't remember his name lolVan Der Sar's original idea allegedly.
I know it’s Tariq Panja but....
That is not what happens in the NFL.
-you play each division opponent twice = 6 games
-you play all 4 teams in one of the other three in-conference divisions (this rotates) = 4 games
-you play all 4 teams in one division in the opposite conference of the one you are in (this rotates) = 4 games
-you play the similarly placed teams in the other divisions in your conference (ie division champ plays the other two division champs) = 2 games
The only part of the schedule that isn't predetermined is the very last bit, which depends on where you finish.
I've just asked why he won't name the US backed clubs and if it has something to do with supporting one of them.Just push the fooking button and be done with it - Struth...........
I'd be shocked if any PL teams were in favour of this, they make more money from domestic football (unlike the Germans, French etc) and it's going to fuck up the domestic calendar.Rags
Liverpool
Barcelona
Real Madrid
Ajax
Celtic
Milan
Juventus
Who else?
Wouldn't surprise me to see Chelsea join
It's obvious the rags and dippers are in favour of it otherwise they wouldn't have tried that con trick trying to restructure the PL for their benefit last year.I'd be shocked if any PL teams were in favour of this, they make more money from domestic football (unlike the Germans, French etc) and it's going to fuck up the domestic calendar.
They're run by fuckwits though, if PL broadcasting income takes a blow from this or the Football League gets crippled by losing the league cup it'll hurt them in the long term. It's obvious the rags and dippers are in favour of it otherwise they wouldn't have tried that con trick trying to restructure the PL for their benefit last year.
League Cup winners go into the European Conference League rather than the Thursday League from next season. That means it might still be strong enough to warrant a European place if the teams in the CL and TL give it a swerve. Pity as I've enjoyed some good away trips in that tournament. Mind you I also remember Bury, Doncaster, Lincoln, Barnet, Wycombe and a few others. They're run by fuckwits though, if PL broadcasting income takes a blow from this or the Football League gets crippled by losing the league cup it'll hurt them in the long term.
