I sold a car to Pellegrinis assistant and she said that Manuel himself was considering not doing any interviews in English because all the twisting and translation issues by the press. This was around Jan/Feb this year...

So the rules on this form is everything has to be positive.

If you question why a player who has been living in a country for over 3 years can't conduct an interview in English....you are a 'miserable (****)

Okay then

Its a forum, a form is something you fill in.

As is a gobshite.
Quite possibly the best comeback I have seen in my many years on here hahaha!!!

Awesome news. Glad to hear is happy because he very quiet and you never get to hear his true opinions. A beautiful player and you can't argue with his record. Since 2010 (the year he joined us) he has won the FA cup, capital one cup, 2 premier league titles, the European championships and the World Cup.

6-1 at the swamp he was just magical.

Consistently receives or wins the ball in midfield facing his own goal and then spins, quick silva, deftly eluding robust challenges and sparking another attack for City. I'm delighted our Dave has signed for 5 more years and is so enthused about it.

Re: New Contracts (Silva signs until 2019 - page 32)

How long did Spanish Dave have left on his current contract just out of curiosity?

Anyway what fantastic news. I remember when we were first linked with him (I didn't know much about him) but remember many people poured scorned and claimed we had no chance of signing him. Fast forward and he is now entering his fifth season with us and it's been an absolute pleasure watching the little guy. And the fact we have secured him for another five years is brilliant.

How can the likes of Silva, Aguero and Tevez have been in the country for so long but can't speak English

Zabaleta was almost perfect after 1 year in the country. These players can afford the best teachers money can buy. Really is flabbergasting

They can speak english but in depth interviews in another language is not easy plus they know how our media twist words to make some gossip

Exactly, plus people have differing abilities for picking up other languages - as long as he makes the ball talk on the pitch Silva can give interviews in Klingon if he wants.
It's criminal that he's put the time and effort into learning Klingon before he's fluent in English. Shame on you David, you p'tach! (folds arms and turns back on him in disgust).

The elegant genius has committed all of his prime years to our wonderful club. My favourite player of all time, and even I can take him for granted at times. I hope everyone realises how lucky we are to have such a fantastic player and person representing us.

Someone else is gonna be announced today. Chris Bailey just tweeted.

I think it will be Edin.

Id love it to be VInny or Kun though.
