New developments in Manchester city centre

Star Pubs and Bars have got some great boozers in their portfolio.

They have 4 in Manchester though and two more on the outskirts not many tbf and of the 2 in town churchills sell generics piss and the brittons is being threatened with the same, not been in the windmill or dog and partridge for years so no idea what they are selling nowadays

I’ve been banned from SSC - MCR, so I’ll have to start posting on this thread instead.

It’s actually a very good looking tower. There are no pictures of the glass cladding which has started going up.

It’s dragging that arse end of the NQ up.

As for Pat. I best not say anything about him apart from he’s not in a position to complain about anything when you see the amount of litter, mess, tagging, graffiti, etc across the city centre that’s he’s supposed to be in-charge of.

I agree, but then I love seeing new buildings going up in Manchester, shows how much confidence there is in the greatest city in the world.

It's staggering, comparing the Manchester skyline to what it was like when I was growing up in Moss Side and Longsight in the late sixties through to the early eighties. That bottom end of Deansgate is just crazy. "Manc-hattan", indeed.
