New Dr Who

Best episode out the three , Moffat definitely should write more .
Hoping the rumour he doing the Christmas special is true .
I think Moffat writes the better stories but Russell is the better showrunner for the show and getting the show out there

It was a bit better but there is to much dialog and not enough action for me

I think some of series 14 going to be ncuti light as he was doing filming elsewhere , so episode 3 was filmed all in a studio as they had limited time .
episode 4 he the doctor goes missing .
series 15 will have more of him and more action hopefully

I think a large element is that the stuff Davies writes hasn't got anyone to say 'no' to him over his writing.

This season is short, but the writers go Davies, Davies, Moffatt, Davies, Davies, (a Disney producer from Loki and a comedian), Davies, Davies.

They all appear to be a snowglobe, given the snow falling in each episode.

It's RTD social commentary on snowflakes...

Ok I’m going to get slated for this but I don’t care. As a 50 odd year old northern heterosexual I can’t say anything without sounding like I’m a twat, but after watching the first two episodes, especially the second one, it’s not Dr Who anymore and hasn’t been since Peter Capoldi left. It’s now a camp innuendo fest. It’s entertaining and clever and well written but it’s not Dr Who. The new doctor is a great actor and good to watch, but it’s so far from actual Dr Who. He would be a great spin off actor - maybe as a new captain Jack - but it’s just another thing that my age group/gender will have to say goodbye to I suppose. Apparently Moffet writes episode 3? Hopefully that’ll be a bit time lordie. Fingers crossed. I gave up watching after about 6 episodes of Jodie Whittaker because it was crap. This is obviously written much better and I’ll probably stick with it and pretend it’s not Dr Who haha

Moffats episode was the closest you'll get to the DW you enjoyed.

It was very deep rooted into his time with lots of smith and Capaldi Easter eggs and a good old fashioned bashing the church and capitalism script.
