Nike should just change it to their tick instead. No one is going to moan about a cross being changed to a tick, surely.

How do you reason with this?
Jamie Ohara has piped up saying he was proud to wear an England kit because it had the England flag on it - it’s since been proven he never wore an England kit with the flag on it.
The Sun recently did a poll where the 5th best England shirt of all time was the one with multicolour crosses all over it.
How do you reason with this? You can show people it’s not the colours of the bisexual flag, you can show people a dozen examples of kits everyone liked with the cross or flag altered to different colours, you can show people like Ohara that they never wore the St George’s cross on a kit but they don’t care. Truth isn’t important to them.

They're grifters trading on outrage at the end of the day.
It's much easier in social media era journalism to be provocative than good. And it pays better.

Can't believe there are so many Nike apologists on BM. It's the very worst of big businesses. On the one hand it pretends to be forward thinking and progressive, and on the other has people working in shitholes for a pittance. An absolute **** of a company.

They're hypocritical garbage.
That's not the issue. The issue is that they've made a relatively benign update to the shirt in line with the general colour scheme of this years England kits and its become a political issue that both the PM and the leader of the opposition have discussed publicly because any hint of a change is denounced as "woke" and to some people, that means their country is being taken away from them.
