In your opinion.
I seem to recall 'one' of the best matches in my life was City beating the rags 6 - 1 at the swamp wearing 'blue' shorts with everyone's beloved Umbro. I prefer white shorts as well by the way but it's the overall aesthetic that matters to me. The rags used to wear black shorts for many years. It's simply a variation on the kit. To say it's 'not City' is nonsense. We had blue shorts continually through the 70's & 80's some of you are just having a pop on baseless nonsense, probably because many simply like being negative.
And yes I am watching City v Bayern for the rag conspiracy theorists. Kit looks great.
I think you will find that the latest Coventry city kit this year is actually predominantly white with light blue stripes and for many of their kits they have had stripes (as we did with sky blue shorts in the mid 80's). To educate yourself look here http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Coventry_City/Coventry_City.htm of course there are going to be similarities as they play in sky blue (but not this year which make the Coventry claims ridiculous)
As for wumming, if commenting about 5 times in a thread is wumming then I suggest the mods would need to ban most of the bluemoon cabal.
It's called an opinion, you don't like it, but wumming, ffs. This board has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous that now if you say something positive about the club you're a rag,
United have never worn red shirts and black shorts as a home kit. You are simply wrong.
