Do you mean the dri-fit ,vapour technology bollox by any chance,but they can run faster you know !
 
I never get upset about kits but the ones we had under umbro a few years back were amazing. That looked horrid tonight. A very strange blue and not nice looking at all. And I agree white shorts are so much better.
 
I've been trying to put to words another reason I dislike them and I think I've finally boiled it down to a word:

Haphazard

They just look amateurish from a kit design perspective. It's like a young lad has spent the afternoon in Photoshop tinkering with one of those Nike kit templates that circulate these days and it some how, through a series of ever increasingly unlikely mishaps, made it into production via an unintentional data dump onto Nike's manufacturing systems... and no one noticed before it was too late to go back.
