While I think he would be a good signing, the optics of signing liverpool's 3rd choice keeper to be our 1st choice wouldn't be great.

If he went on to be better for us than both their Brazilian and our Brazilian, the optics would be great.

Is there anyone like Ederson good with their feet, which clearly Ortega isn’t and what our style highly relys on.
Presume the implication is due to them buying that Georgian keeper, who is joining in the summer

Some are good but as good as Eddie? No.
i mean´t to be the second choice keeper with some cup games to be ready for future nr1 spot.

Ederson still the man for me, was alright with him getting a punishment dropping for Feyenoord as he was proper wank but still miles better than Ortega who makes me nervous.

Maignan is pretty good with his feet. He even drops the shoulder and takes on a pressing forward sometimes lol.

Our 2nd choice goalie is never going to be a kid out of the academy, Ortega has played a good few games this season due to injury to Ederson. Maybe someone like James Trafford who has had experience now and would count as club trained to boot.

For second choice at Liverpool this season when Allison has been out he has done great how many clean sheets a lot of people was saying he should feel hard done by when Allison played again.
Don't think Ortega is particularly poor with his feet, just not in Edersons league but few are.
Not sure what the story is with liverpool.
They have bought 2 new keepers, both of which Slot said will be in their team at the start of next season.

Before United ruined him Onana was amazing at that, remember how he was unplayable at the Champions League final.
Now it's slim pickings, and it doesn't help that most young goalies think they can do it, unlike older ones, but actually can't.
