New Kit Deal - Under Armour?

I fucking hate Nike! Absolute shite!! The worse kits we've ever had. The quality of the whole range is bordering on Ali's seconds shack in Cheetham Hill. Everything from the stitching, to the cut of the garment and the material quality is shocking! And the price is just unrealistic for the quality offered. I know a thing or two about the clothing industry and Nike are fucking abysmal. Can we have Kappa back please ??

I'll just leave this here. This would've been mighty for an away kit.

That would sell in 100s of thousands. Why can't kit designers just browse on here and they would make a packet. Some of the mock ups done on this forum put people who are handsomely paid to shame.

Even though our kits have grown on me as the season has progressed, whoever at City gives NIKE the "Thumbs-Up" on the final kit design needs some more skeptics around them.

Hopefully we re-work our Nike deal with an extension or have an Adidas bidding war to get even more ££££ out of it like the other clubs.

I liked last year's home kit and the 14/15 away kit most recently. I think the rest have been pretty shit. Recently.

. Can we have Kappa back
Was it Kappa that let the club down years ago by missing a kit launch date and then compounding the problem by missing the new date for the kit launch? At the time it was rumoured that they were prioritizing another club over City.

Umbro have zero chance of getting a kit deal with us. The money required they do not have or would be willing to pay.
Under Armour all day for me. Nike are shite
Someone said Under Armour will go bust. what garbage. I am in the states a lot. They will be bigger than Nike on day.

Under Armour's credit rating was just lowered to junk. There is talk that in a few years there is a small chance they might be bought out by Nike or maybe even go under. I don't think they will but it is obvious they have bet a lot that their kit deals and sponsorships will translate into big earnings. I mean, they put A LOT of money out there very quickly. Being under Nike's yoke sucks but it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.

Absolute nonsense.

Under Armour's business model has grown ridiculously fast and overtaken many, many competitors.

Take it from someone who has been sat in a room with senior Nike reps pitching a kit package to a major US college football team, the mere mention of under armour will see Nike double down on what they offer. Nike are the daddy, but they are also scared shitless of the new kid on the block and for good reason. Even when Nike has exclusivity in the NFL, players are trying to wear under armour.
