New MCFC History section on Bluemoon

I was just about to let rip and blackguard the entire forum, but he's in! The late, great Dave Ewing, God rest his weary bones!

Is it from 2008 - present?

Might just be from last season? In fact, it could be the shortest history of any PL club - when did Kun score? 94m 25 secs? We have a 35 second history!

-- Wed Jun 27, 2012 7:23 am --

sounds fantastic, well done to all concerned, just need some spare time to have a proper look.

Check out the video section mate. City 11 - 4 Palace, 1926. Think I see you in the crowd.

Did yer see the first 6-1 pasting of the Rags in 1926, de niro? Have yer got the pair?

I can only imagine the work that has gone into this masterpiece. Thankyou to Ric and Gary. Now I will have to go because I have some City reading to do.

This is a top job lads, good job we have a club that deserves you! Well done!

Im trying to pick my way through early 70's games for the one where Corrigan was taken off injured - we were playing at home but I was so young I can only remember things very skethcilly. It was the game where I feel in love with the club, it was brilliant watching it sat on the wodden benches in the Platt lane end.

Anyone got a clue what game it was? Could save me hours! Im praying there will be some footage!!!

Was it this one mate?

According to the database, Corrigan was only substituted 3 times and the others were in 1980 and 1982.

Come to think of it I think we had to play with someone like Lee or Tueart in goal so he might not have been substituted but had to be stretchured off the pitch unable to continue? It isnt this game as I would have remembered it being a foreign team - for some reason I think it might be Coventry or West Ham - not sure though!

Thanks mate

Absolutely brilliant, I think some of the new fans should go through this and attempt to respect the club's identity.
