A couple below that have come up in discussion in this week's Irish theme playlist thread, that have new material.

My feelings on youtube links (in particular without description) are known, but it seems the thing on this thread, so will try respectfully blend in.

Sprints - Up and Commer,
new album on its way, a few songs being drip-fed. Previous EPs quite good.

Chewie (formerly known as Chewing on Tinfoil), new album Inarticulate out after a bit of a hiatus.

Turns out Ash have a new album out too, not listened, only noticed through mention.

Looking forward to sprints lp, as you say, the eps have been great.
Not sure if been posted, a search suggests not, and it's not particularly new (3 months) but I like this, from coach party.

I was into Ride back in the day but for some reason the rest of those passed me by

Apologies for not being "new" music, but heres some from those bands...worth a listen...

Chapterhouse - Breather

Curve - Fait Accompli (this is just an excuse to post something with Toni Halliday in...i was very much ion love with her back then )

Catherine Wheel - i want to touch you

I was then and still am a big fan of Ride. Always thought they were the best of the bunch. Saw Chapterhouse a few times and had the Catherine Wheel albums although a bit rockier. For me the best new band in this genre are called bdrmm. Their first was definitely in the genre and the 2nd album released earlier this year saw them expand the sound but still good

Not sure if i posted in this particular thread, but some more recent shoegaze, although a bit heavier, that i really like is from Slowcrush...

Bdrmm are a great band. Not got into the new album yet as much as their first though, but really loved that one Channeling a bit of the Cure too.

Some good pointers there and I’ll work my way through exploring these. Currently listening to bdrmm, first impressions very good. I see they are playing Salford White Hotel 14th November but looks like it’s sold out, another gig I’ll likely miss out on.

I went to have a look if there were any extra tickets for Slowdive this Tuesday, there aren’t but I see they are back at the Academy in February so tickets secured for that

Seen in the last week - The Reytons, The Ks, Andrew Cushin, The Clause
Seeing this week Feet

All good recommendations
