I went to see Sea Power in Cambridge doing their Soundtracks tour. Interestingly, they have found a whole new young audience as a result of their brilliant soundtrack for the Disco Elysium computer game.

I saw White Magic for Lovers play as a support act

Like many people there, I'd never heard of them but there was massive applause and a palpable buzz in the crowd after they played this track - a gorgeous melody. A proper earworm.

I saw Liverpool legends Shack at the Union Chapel in Islington.

Sadly Mick Head was not in great form but his brother John was absolutely mesmerising whenever he was on vocal duties. He really needs to make a solo album.

Her best album so far, really enjoyed the first couple of plays today.
She's maturing as an artist and it's great to witness the change. Her songwriting has really evolved. There's still a bit of anger, protest etc, but it's more controlled.
Won't be everyone's cup of tea but I've followed her career and she's nailing it now.
Anyway, back to the match.
