Enjoying the new Shame album Cutthroat
They only have a couple of tracks on Spotify but might be a band to follow for those that miss the 80's Goth/New Wave sound
Letter to self is a great album. Loads of bangers on it.One of my top bands over the last couple of years. Really liked the Letter to Self album as a whole, and the new one lives up to it for the most part imo. Seeing them live again in a month-ish, hope it is as good as previously.
Got halfway through before I sacked it. I liked her early stuff but this is poor.Had a listen to the new Lily Allen album today! West End Girl.
Had lots of publicity this weekend.
Hell hath no fury….

The new one hasn't quite grabbed me, although I've only given it a couple of listens. It deserves, and will get a few more plays yet.
Absolutely it makes sense. L.t.s. was a great debut album, sounded raw, unpolished. But that's not unusual really for a bands first.Had a similar impression at first, but it seeps into your bones with repeated listens. The new album has a trio of songs that are imo stronger than almost anything on Letter to Self. But as a whole, LtS is still a better album overall imo. Feels a bit more natural, if that makes sense.
