On the old one you could view 30 or so latest stories, and then just go to news and see a compact list of 100s more in date order. Now you can view 2 or 3 'latest' stories, and it is a faff trying to find the list which shows around 20 more in a large clunky format!

Very slow, doesn't look authentic. looks like someone tried to customize a out-of-the-box template.
will require more man-hours to maintain. Maybe we will eventually get use to it. But the damn thing has to work as designed/intended. They need to beef-up back end capacity/resources to ensure the content is delivered seamlessly to the users. I blame this on our partnership with WIX.
Feeding us with their junk platform... just my opinion.

Agree, I've used WIX at work in some capacity and the OS looks no different to any template they have. It's bizarre that we've gone from having such a smooth running website to the shite we have now.
 
Just watched the FrakenCity feature on the website wondering who other than David Silva & Kinkladze would win.

No Kinkladze! Not even worthy of merit!
 
How do you find old videos and also is my computer or a general thing keep trying to play videos but says corrupt
 
So confusing to use, city sort it out! Don't needs fancy dingle dangles. Just need to navigate easy...
 
I must admit I'm not keen on the new site either. I have trouble signing in too - I can occasionally sign in if I use an incorrect password of the same number of characters as the correct one, then after it says the password is wrong I go back & change it to the correct one it sometimes lets me in, but oddly not always. It's very annoying. In the main when I am trying to sign in I get the 'bouncing ball' for quite a while then it goes back to the beginning asking me to sign in again.
 
Not all the premier league fixtures are listed on the site for example the first home game against Sunderland. Anyone know why?

I've given up signing in for now as it takes forever to actually do it and it logs me back out again when I quit the site.

I asked about searching for videos a couple of weeks back (on twitter) and was told that a search function "is coming". Not holding my breath.

I also find the site very slow (it's no better than the old one in that respect) and I'd like to be able to choose to get rid of the "City Now" column on the rhs when viewing on desktop.

I've also asked for a simple, easy to scan, version of the fixture list (like the old one). The fancy new one is a PITA when trying to quickly spot dates :( Although, on the positive side, the calendar sync works very well on iPhone and google calendar.

Update :- re the problems I was having signing in to the new site, I sent them a message & they reset / changed my password & I now have no problems - not sure why my original password was causing problems as its one I had used for many years & it did occasionally work on the new site but only very intermittently . Fingers crossed the new password has sorted it !
