New official City website

I went on it last night just to see if it had improved in any way. I was using Safari on an I-Pad which must be the number 1 priority when developing a site i.e. if it should work on anything it should work on an ipad! It was completely useless, loaded a big white square blocking some text and pictures that was itself not loaded properly.

It’s completely unacceptable. If I was in a senior management position at the club the first thing I’d do when launching a new site is ensure it works across a wide range of browsers, on day 1 of the launch I’d check it myself and if it was as crap as this offering there would be stand up rows in the office and people would lose their jobs for gross negligence, the old site would be up by the end of the day. The fact it has survived a couple of weeks is alarming, does no one at the club think to check that it works? FFS!

It's unbelievable isn't it? Our website will be the point of contact for so many people around the world. To some extent, it's the face of our club in the modern world. It's beyond terrible.

It's still a steaming pile of turd.
Tried to watch a video from a link on here and only the top half of the screen was showing
Yesterday tried to read the ticket news on my iPad, nice white page with nothing on

Today I have to wait in till 2pm to order Celtic tickets from my work laptop when I'd rather be in sunny Manchester having a pint, because the ticket site can't cope with IPhone/iPad

I think the site is fine! maybe theres people on here with an agenda? like they've designed websites or got one they think is better?
works for me and looks nice, can't see no white or blank nothingness, or glitches - what's the problem, change?

I'm getting used to it on my pc however I've given up on ever doing a search or navigate anywhere. So I guess I've sufficiently lowered my expectations. How's that for modern user experience?

From my ipad the site is very buggy - almost useless. I've lost the City app for iPad and the City app for iPhone is very dated looking.

This is more embarrassing than Yayacake.

Works fine on my iPhone buying tickets. That's about the only thing that works tho

The complaints are not about it being new or the old one was better. It just does not work properly. Why can't it work on all types of browsers . You are OK so you've no need to complain. 60 pages in this thread says something must be wrong.

It seems to be over egged also, unless you have a newer 'machine' you also struggle regardless of browser. Not everyone upgrades every couple of years.

The new mancity site does not work at all on safari (my laptop). When using the iPad is extremely slow. So there, there are major issues with it. To the point I don't even bother with it. I don't even like the way the site was setup. I did like the old version, it was functional and friendly as well. I haven't tried with a different browser though. Maybe better luck with Chrome. Actually the blue moon site is a bit iffy too when using my laptop
