The practicalities of this will be interesting. Are they going to conduct this check on the platform, potentially delaying the next inbound tram when said platform fails to clear quickly enough, or are they going to do it at the foot of the steps, in which case there'll be Blues queuing all over the tracks?! Something tells me the 'check' will be a lot briefer if arriving by tram than if you walk to the ground......
If they stand at the top of the tram steps it will take seconds to see if someone has a valid ticket or not, the hardest thing will be turning away fans away back down the steps.

Stay on the tram until the Velodrome stop, which is much closer to the academy stadium anyway

Please note it is only for the Feyanord game. This will be to stop thousands of away fans coming onto the concourse. There will still be the normal checks at the turnstiles.
you can guarantee there will be loads of feyenoord fans in the home end. just like against celtic last year. they had these checks last year and it did nothing.
