New ST rules & ticket transfers

Can someone please clarify, for a ticket to be transferred. The person buying the tickets must be a member? A supporter number only is not enough? Im looking to buy some tickets for West Ham so I need to be sure. Thanks in advance.

Correct, ish

You either have to have a paid up membership OR each ST holder can nominate 3 people they can transfer to free. The tickets can then be received by one of those 3 via email containing a wallet download link. There are set windows when the 3 nominations can be made though so it's not really an option for you if buying from here at the moment.
 
Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this, however my season ticket along with all home cup games will be available for the rest of the season, its in Block 34 in the family stand and just looking for the cost per game, not to make a profit - drop me a message if interested
 
Hi all, merry Xmas. Santa here too help you with your woes. There is light at the end of the tunnel. One way you can send your ticket to someone else.

Call customer services and tell them you have lost your phone. Ask them to email you a ticket link. You can use the link to download to any phone.

Email this to your friend and they can use the link.

As an alternative you can ask customer services for a card, like the ones we used to have. Some fans still have them but you have to push for one. Of course anyone can use them.

I asked the club at the beginning of the season and there is no plan to introduce facial recognition. If it's fans got together we could stop that but that's another topic for the future maybe. Hope this helps.
 
I have transferred my ticket for Chelsea to my wife, she is a non paying member but I have added her as 1 of my 3 nominations.
The ticket has gone on to her account and has gone from my Google wallet.

Now the problem...
She has NOT received any email with an option to download the ticket, also when logging in to her city account the ticket is there, but NO option to download or add to wallet etc.
There's also no option to transfer either...
I have tried contacting City but you are just kept on hold ( have also messaged them but it's just ignored)
Anyone had this and know of a solution??
(Long shot I know)
