New Striker In January?

We play with one striker. We currently have one of the very very best strikers in the world. His back up is a striker that is a solid and proven premier league performer who has had nowhere near enough minutes under his belt with us to be written off. And third choice is a hugely promising youngster coming through. The balance we have is perfect.

On top of that, when called upon last year, silva scored plenty playing up front, and sterling and de bruyne can chip in too in the unlikely scenario all of those players were injured.

Given how little game time we can give bony in our current system, who could we seriously get who is better than him but happy to play aguero's understudy? we will have the odd bad week, but on the whole we don't struggle for goals and another striker would be a waste of money and may also upset the balance of our squad.

As it stands our success in attack is based on a prolific Aguero, Bony for whatever reason has lost confidence and is a shadow of the player he was at Swansea The kid has only just come to the fore and therefore we can only hope he can contribute, So IMHO a 4th striker would have been a good shout On top of this Sterling is not a goalscorer per se and Navas just doesn't do goals

Put faith in Iheanacho as the second choice until January, then asses it from there.

I like Bony but he has been woeful this season, maybe he just can't step up to this level. If that's the case, then he should be used as a makeweight in a transfer next summer.

We need three strikers. Aguero, Iheanacho and another. Bony needs to be shipped out. square peg round hole.
