New striker?

A very pertinent issue that not many are considering. Not sure the guys we have could be deemed to be as good as say Haaland, but equally who gets dropped ? Raheem likely leaving, but clearly Jack came in to cover that scenario.And do not forget Delap has great potential and will want game time soon enough.

Seems pretty obvious to me, we're getting Kane.... so long as Levy is sensible about the valuation.
 
Why can’t we sign one in January and one in the summer as well? Pep likes 2 players for every position right now we have zero at the club, Jesus prefers the wing and Torres is a make shift striker. Also poor Delap seems to be having a few injury issues.

So why not sign a striker in january as a back up option for Haaland or Vlahovic in the summer? Theres Belotti who’s cheap and out of contract also knows where the back of the net is.

Why sign only one striker

We create so many golden chances it’s a dream situation for any striker. Does not have to be world class. They just need to know how to finish. Ings would be top scorer in the league if he played for us. So would a lot of strikers that know how to finish. You’ve got service from the best creative fullback in the league in Cancelo, the best midfielder in the league in KDB a Strikers dream.

Depends, Spurs media being briefed Conte will have 100 odd million to spend in January only one sale will get them that money. 100 percent Spurs are going to come back to us with their tail between their legs saying they’ll take the money we offered in the summer for Kane.

Depends how city feel as well about the signing we know Peps a huge fan of Kane.
 
Wish we'd got Maxwell Cornet before Burnley, the Ivorian got four against us for Lyon so can't be bad. Has made a vast difference to the Clarets
 
depends in how we are fixed in the league etc imo. With the dippers going to lose salah and mane for possibly 6 weeks then if we are fully in the hunt for the title common sense would be to use them pair going as a catalyst to splash in january to try and pull away from them if they struggle?
 
The conundrum here is our expectation of a lethal striker is set so high because we had Aguero.

Most obvious is Haaland, but I would absolutely love it if we could find another Aguero. When we bought Aguero, not many knew that he would set the football world on fire because they were many established strikers around those years 2008-2010. Even with Aguero scoring goals for Atletico, eyes were on Eto'o, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Torres, Villa, Drogba.
