Real wouldn't let him go to us.

His clear trajectory is to finish at Madrid in like 1.5 years, then go to Lyon and retire there for another year or 2.

Benzema, for what it's worth, is probably the absolute best player for our style.

A pure false 9 with incredible goal scoring instincts, if any future striker we buy can reach Benzema levels, then we are incredibly lucky, any higher, then we will easily win every trophy.

I had hoped Jesus would (maybe still could) reach Benzema levels as styilstically he is comparable.
 
What happened to Delap? Heard next to nothing about why he's been missing, what kind of injury he has or when he is back? Seems a bit strange since he was considered a part of the first team just a couple of months ago when we rejected a bunch of loan offer for him. We always get to know the reason when someone else is missing, so why so quite about Delap?
Is he still alive?

Remember when not signing a striker was going to be a good thing because we could use Delap and Torres more? Lol

They will leave to join their squads right after boxing day! so thats from 27th of December going on till early February depending on how far their teams progress.

How much for Nacho Nacho Man? 2 assists and a goal last night. He would be a very good player in this City team. Not as an out and out traditional 9 but as the focal point of our offensive 3. Very tidy player.
 
Antoine Griezmann on a three year contract, anyone? Perhaps he is too old (30) for our profile, and could be a bit too expensive. But we seem to get along just lovely with Barca so maybe we could get a nice deal.
