New striker?

The English... I wrote the English

I was left confused but reading for the fifth time I can see you were making a correlation.

I’m no fan of “Gabigol” either, and not long ago, he and his team had requested to be called “Gabi” by the media and the club, but it never caught on, so they just gave up.

fair enough, reading it back I wasn't particularly clear.

If pep would settle for Ronaldo and Ronaldo wants to move ,it will be an easy transfer as Mendes is the agent.

I always thought Ings would be a good cheaper option as he's got a good all round game, presses and can finish.

However obviously that won't happen now.

I've just gone through the Fantasy Premier League app looking at the strikers available to see if there's any similar to Ings (a bit too good for the club they're at and could maybe do well for us stylistically).

There's none.

The only ones I considered at all were Callum Wilson (who I don't think is as good as Ings) and Pukki (scored goals in the Prem last time round despite being in a poor team). Even keeping an open mind there really isn't a lot to consider.

I think it would have to be someone from abroad.

Actually there is one Premier League striker with a similar style to Kane but a lot less. I didnt suggest him though because I don't think it would happen anyway due to the injury he had etc.

Raul Jimenez. Not young, but good for maybe 2 years, I'd guess maybe £30m. Good in the air, good finisher, strong. Obviously there's questions about the injury and if he's properly over it, but if he is I think he'd be a decent short term alternative while Delap develops.
