In Torres we have one. Gives Delap a chance as well. At some stage we need to trust some of the talent coming through the academy and give them a chance to make it with us.
Tough tough season ahead, Matches against the likes of dippers, PSG, and Chelsea screams for an elite finisher who can score from half a chance (think of Kun).
I am all in for Delap and confident he will come good but he should pave his way a long a senior striker . Torres in my eyes has great potential but not as a no 9.

Actually shocking to me that the connections in Abu Dhabi really want to face PSG twice without a proper 9. The tough UCL matches only come after the New though. If we qualifyLet's see how we go until the New Year as I doubt we'll be bringing in a new striker. We might find by then that we're happy with what we have.

I'd put a cheeky bid in for Benzema, better than Kane and would be good for 2 more seasons, allowing more time for us to developed or find the perfect Kun replacement.

A striker tends to move into positions which a midfielder won't. That's why it's important to get the right striker.Even today there we struggled to get the ball to someone in the box so that they could have a shot. I think getting a striker wouldn't help as much as people think.
