I suspect he's not going to be here long, and I'm not talking about Txiki. You sound just like my rag brother. He thinks Txiki's a fraud and i'm towing the party line too.

Is he another refugee from the "We Hate Bluemoon We're Starting Our Own Forum" Forum? That would explain the overconfident posting style from post one. ;)
He is not at your club, get over itYou're bright aren't you. He didn't fool Pep - he was above Pep. He hasn't fooled Sori, Khaldoon and Mansour - he's fooled one of em. Who are these clubs jumping at the chance to employ him ?
All his fanboys, while toeing the Bluemoon party line, can't actually tell me what the man does other than splurge Mansour's money.
No, Pep can work wherever and with whoever he likes, if Pep wants to come to City and work with Txiki it's because he respects an trusts him. if you think he's only fooled Soriano, you don't think Khaldoun would question it ? What does he do, well you could do some research but he is the clubs director of football which means overseeing everything from th U13 to first team he doesn't just negotiate transfers. You're bright aren't you. The definitive sign of a halfwit .... "you don't agree with my opinion hence you're a rag".He is not at your club, get over it

Ok man you're the only one who gave a decent question a decent answer so respect to you. You say "on the whole he's done a great job". Can you expand on that and tell me what he's done and why it's been great ?Oooo........... Who dares question the authority of the Great Deity?
For what it's worth, on the whole he's done a great job. It's Manuel (who you could argue was his choice therefore his mistake) that's letting him down right at the death.
As much as we are all clearly experts - football is an indefinite science.
Finish top 4 - everyone's happy and move on.
You can LOL all you want, honey, but that was the gist of your pathetic little post and you know it as do the other forum police.
I think it depends how long he has had Pep in the bag, because then Manuel becomes more about making the transition to Pep as smooth as possible. If his appointment was only about keeping things ticking over, then keeping us in the top 4 and a few trophies is probably what was intended, and it would have been difficult to replace Manuel at the end of last season, with Pep lined up. If of course Pep didn't commit until recently then it was a risk that could have badly backfired.Oooo........... Who dares question the authority of the Great Deity?

Anyone who calls someone "man" and "respect" on a fucking football forum needs to go elsewhere for their kicks.Football aint for you Raggy.Ok man you're the only one who gave a decent question a decent answer so respect to you. I think most people agree that KDB and Sterling were good signings but then again last summer you and me would have identified those two as players we should target and we're not getting paid £2m per annum for such decisions.I suppose when you have relatively unlimited funds - buying and attracting players, on the face of it, isn't that great an achievement. That said, the signings of KDB and Sterling signalled for me as sea change in how the club is now viewed and how we are putting together an infrastructure that enhances that. Txiki is part of the team that has facilitated this. The negotiations and way Txiki went about those transfers was dignified and for the most part stealth like - again others will argue the price kept going up and ultimaterly we met that price. That is why, although I respect him, the Deity like levels of adulation have been at times unhealthy. Everyone should be open to scrutiny. Blind, unadulterated faith, whilst admirable, is never healthy.
The signing of Pep, a man who could have his choice of clubs is of course wonderful and shows how far we've come and is in no small part directly because of Txiki courting and persuading him.
Without Txiki I doubt there would be Pep.

So you appear to be an "old" poster who has either been banned and come back,or in less than six weeks you try and be confrontational.Mmmmmmm, how very strange for a "new" member to react.Something smells here Raggy. You're way too old to understand

He made the mistake of saying I was old mate. He`s obviously an ex Blue Mooner who knows me and appears to be on the wum mate.No rag oakie but your first assumption is spot on imo.
He is not alone either....
Blue Moon and my clique !! I don`t have anyone who comes on BM to help me out in any debates and likewise I don`t follow anyone else.I wasn't being confrontational.
I offered my opinion and based on that I got personal abuse from the usual brainwashed bunch. Not once did anyone other than Gaudino Motors actually bother to discuss the point in question
That's the problem with people like you and your little bluemoon clique - anybody who vigorously defends an opposite point of view to your own is instantly denounced as a rag or a trouble causer because you don't have the inclination and clearly in some cases the intellect to challenge their ideas. Would you be quite so quick to denigrate someone who didn't agree with you in real life in the pub for example ? And if you did would you think it fair that loads of your little gang jumped in and tried to railroad the dissenter out of the argument and out of the pub ?
Forums are platforms for everyone to express their opinion not just those dullards with high post counts or fanboys of mods.
