Lineker when presenting either MOTD or Bt sport recently said with all the money we have got you would think we would have better nets.

mentioned the way they lift when a ball hits them, as do many nets now..

theyre obviously prem approved so whats his problem..

Oh by the way poo pants ( Lineker).. Spuds nets do exactly the same.

Never was a fan of the black nets....If I remember rightly UEFA made us use them for the Europa League final we had at the Etihad a few years ago black is better for TV apparently and we stayed with them

I think the white nets can be seen better in the perriferal vision so I expect plenty of screamers now from the edge of the box and Sergios goal to shot ratio to increase or is it decrease...oh I don't know ;)

In that case, we should change them at half time so we're always shooting into white and them into black :-)

All it will do is give Kolarov an even higher false sense of his own ability and see him shooting more regularly, into the upper tiers.
