New white nets at the Etihad Stadium

I started a thread about this a few years ago saying I'd prefer blue or white ones. Glad the club have finally listened!

Anyway, I'm sure I heard a few years ago we had black so the crowd can see the pitch better! Scientifically proven or some such rubbish.

I'm chuffed they're back to white though.

All we need now is them to revert back to sloping ones, like in the good old days at Maine Road.

I loved the days when goals and nets were different.
west ham at old Upton when they were onIy 2 foot deep.
Chelsea in the 70s were about 12 foot deep.
Newcastle staunchons.
halcyon days.
