As do I, these badges are country miles in front of our current badge.
Everything about our badge screams "Franny Lee". The pseudo-historical roots, the desperation in appearing successful with the "decorative" stars, the cliched Latin phrase about conquering or struggle that's suppose to be "inspirational". Everything about it is either patronising, cliched or fake.
ZSD's is a modern take on our classic badge. The basics of the one that most of us associate with City, but redesigned to fit the new era. It is several hundred billion times better than the shite we have now.

Just had a look at their Adidas slouch cap (as they term it) and it is out of stock. Oh well. Still waiting for the global brand that is Manchester City to figure out the potential of making white (summer / college-style) BB caps. Their offerings have always been piss-poor reflecting the demands of the local market, but as the market is no longer local, you'd think they'd get with it. Coming to the states again and still nothing to appeal to the young US market. Really odd.DiscoSteve said:Got one ordered now - arriving in UK next month.DiscoSteve said:tried to order a shirt - I have a valid US Postal Address to send stuff to (you can't have anything delivered outside US) but run up against the usual Credit Card Zip Code issue on US Sites... grrrr.... will need to make a transatlantic phone call in the morning on the works phone.. ahem....

I think a badge change is detrimental to our brand in this stage of our development.
By the way, Chelsea changed their badge in 2005 from this:

to this:

With the first Chelsea badge there and our current one not having our club names on the badge and then changing to a proper disc with our club names on, that would be better for commercial reasons.
I think only having "MCFC" and that stupid Latin shite we have that is setting us back commercially. IMO we should have our full name on our badge.
That was the main reason I think Chelsea changed theirs (as well as fan pressure, of course).
