Now that I've spent more of my insomniac hours on the NYCFC forums, I can say that the vast majority of the posters are great lads. But, as is the case with many online discussion websites, there are a few dominant personalities that attempt to exert their authority over the whole. Because it is a very small community their influence is disproportionally visible. Some are worryingly adversarial but I am sure that behaviour will wane with time.

That is not really happening any more.

I will say, having just observed the forum at first, there was some serious hostility to MCFC from the beginning, regardless of whether it was mentioned or "rammed".
