Funny how we all see the game,I thought he had a poor game to be honest.

Not a great "team" performance, but this wasn't expected. I felt in the 2nd half when David Villa was fucked off, NYCFC actually played better and looked more together.
Like this Sebastian Valezquez lad, he looks decent. and the defender Kwame W. Siriboe, played a lovely ball to Tony Taylor (who looked better than Villa) to score the second.

Enjoyed the game. For a new team NYC showed potential and bossed sections of it.
The Villa megging Chiles and getting one back was funny, and 3 quid to see a Villa goal was well worth it.
Will be there on Sunday.

They looked great today. Very attractive attacking football. Way beyond what one would expect from a brand new club. Poku looked like a revelation, though it was just one game.

Very, very impressed with the quality of play from NYC. Beautiful, fluid, crisp passing - absolutely bossed the game against a team in mid season form. Impressive stuff. The lads who impressed me were Velasquez, Brovsky, Grabavoy, and Taylor. Villa wasn't quite as clinical as he's known to be.

Well Done to New York City on their maiden win.
I hope New York City, Melbourne City et al go on to great success in their respective leagues over the next few seasons (especially overtaking New York Red Bulls and Melbourne Victory respectively as the dominant teams in each city).
Success for all our sister clubs is good for City, as is success for all our youth teams and the City womens team.
Lets dominate the football world (starting with a win at Stoke tonight !)
