Newcastle 1-1 City post match thread

Fuck me that was SLOPPY.
Left the Bar when Pony came on as we would only get worse.
Aguero was very slightly offside (less so than Sky made out) but just WTF does he have to do to get a penalty. Totally cleaned out by the defender. Shocking.
Two wrongs DO NOT make a right.
As to City's passing SLOPPY, SLOPPY, SLOPPY. All were responsible YaYa, Kolarov, Navas and Vincent were the worst but oh dear oh dear oh me.
And if Vincent is going to play like that give me Otamendi every f*cking day of the week.

MOTM Mangala by a country mile.
Agreed thought he was great tonight.

Was all about the 3 points and we werent good enough. Saw they had run 5km more than us toward the end. Would be interesting to see how many times that has happened this season.

They clearly were more willing to fight and work for the result.

Attitude was pathetic, Playing like we were 3 up in the second half. Same shit that has happened for the majority of the season yet he continues to do it. When was the last time playing Delph on the left worked?

Shockingly lethargic, virtually every player looking as though he didn’t want to be there.
All the defenders were guilty of unforced errors, as were Yaya, Fernando and Delph

No support for the forwards, so once again Navas and De Bruyne were isolated. On another day, Navas could have had three assists, but why oh why, do our midfield never bust a gut to get into the area?

Aguero should have had a penalty, but no doubt the media will be more interested in our offside goal.

Hart did okay, but not many decent performers tonight.

Bony on again instead of Nacho

I won't say what I would like to say about clueless cos I'll get a ban

Struggling to find any positives. Zabba looked better, Mangala had a decent game, Joe made a good save and that's about it. Yaya was back to lazy half arsed Yaya. Delph was played out of position and was predictably crap. I've been a big fan of Sterling and defended him, but he looked like he didn't want to come on and when he did he didn't want the ball. Had a couple of chances to take his man on and either lost possession or passed it back.
Even KDB and Aguero looked subdued. Don't know what the lino was thinking when he didn't flag Aguero offside but I said to the mrs that the ref will probably even it up by not giving us a blatant pen. I must be fucking psychic. Shit from Pellegrini and shit from the players.

If it wasn't for ryan reynolds adverts and tequilla, I'd be seriously pissed off right now

The more I think about it i wonder how much longer sterling will remain a premier league player. Seriously the kid has nothing, absolutely nothing. Can't dribble can't pass can't shoot, what is he meant to be good at?
