The commentators joked about it but Carroll's last challenge on Laporte was a disgrace. Caroll is just a drunken thug who has taken the piss out of Newcastle fans for years with his pitiful antics. I'm glad donkeys like him are a rare sight in English football these days.

Fully agree. Was very worried he would break Laporte’s jaw or cheekbone. Should have had 2 yellows in my opinion.
As to City, not bad but could do better. Should have been at least 2 up before Otamendis brain fart. David was sloppy a couple of times, as were all the front players.
When we play Madrid we must take our chances- and not think there’s always another one coming
