Couldnt give a shite about the Dippers on Thursday , they can win it by 30 points , we need three more league wins , the Newcastle game dwarfs the Dipper match now , another FA Cup final will be a pick me up for our under achievements in the league. We can then concentrate on the Champs league , i have no doubt the whole ****ry will be rooting for us to win it , the hateful eight will be behind us all the way to Lisbon

newcastle away is hard at any stage of the season never mind just coming back from the 4 months break. and losing to chelsea and handing liverpool the title. city are hurting and it could really go both ways and with champions league to come we could turn off again

but i think pep is good at wanting silverware and wants to win every trophy if he can. so the players will be well prepared and have a good mind set for this game. city can hurt anybody when it clicks and am talking big teams as well. so Newcastle will have to respect us and keep it tight and hope for that bit of luck they have had in the past over us

Don’t think the players were really bothered about the Chelsea result. They knew the league had gone. From the KDB interview it sounds as if they really want the FA cup & - of course - the corrupt CL!!

Game against rentboys summed our season up....sort that fooking defence out it's a calamity at times.... backlash tommorrow.

We should have a ‘hateful eight’ banner for when we are allowed back in the stadium with those words and eight club badges.

Pep Guardiola has confirmed John Stones is OUT of tomorrow's game against Newcastle with an injury

"Phil Foden had a kick in the first minutes against Burnley and now Fernandinho is out with suspension. We knew these things might happen. We have to try and survive and qualify for the top four.

"Our focus is Newcastle - absolutely Newcastle. Right now, the #FACup
is a priority because it is the next game and we can get to Wembley again in the semis."

"Newcastle have the weapons to punish us. It is the most important game and after Sunday, we fight to finish second in Premier League and qualify for Champions League - and after that we prepare for Madrid.

A team like us, who have won eight titles, have passion for every single game in every single competition. And no one other club in this country can say that. It is so difficult what we have done, in the most difficult league in the world..."

“You are not going to win all the time – and we must congratulate Liverpool for winning the title. But we still have a big challenge. We won the Carabao Cup and the Community Shield and we still have the FA Cup and Champions League

Claudio Bravo and Eric Garcia are expected to remain sidelined for tomorrow's game
