They still believe it though mate. I have a Geordie mate who is obsessed with our crowds. He typifies them. Can't be doing with them at all. They used to be not any more

A little tongue in cheek, there were two coaches of Geordies when I went past. A little bladdered but no hassle I believe but we were discussing in the Fold if they needed some help we'd have obliged . they have always been a typical set of rags in that place.
Only went to SJP once in 1983 when we lost 5-0 and the fuckers kicked off everywhere.
The only ground I swore never to return to - and I never did..... went to both Merseyside grounds, Leeds, Rags, Millwall, Chelsea and yes there was trouble but nothing on this scale.
Fuck knows what they would have done to us had we drawn......
I appreciate it was 32 years ago..... but memories remain.... hope the deluded ''Geordie nation'' twats get relegated....
They are shit, but with a massive fan baseThink they're big. They're not. They're shit. Shit club, shit fans, shit kit, shit ale.

Rather ironic them singing empty seats
As the goals flew in i could see more empty seats in their upper South Stand
