I can’t believe how many self entitled fans here, acting like they have a divine right to see the team playing perfect football every week, and moaning after what was yet another strong and good performance.
We can’t be “at our fluid fast pace” every damn game, you have to put context into the mixt. No team, however good, can’t be at its best fluid pace when the team they face choose to park 11 players behind the ball. You can’t physically be your best fluid pace because there is no space to put your pace into. Newcastle had 11 guys in the surface, how do you expect any team to be at its fluid fast pace?
Nevertheless, we won 3-1, had a lot of chances and at times played some brilliant stuff. And we are 12 points clear, having basically murdered their precious PL weeks ago.
But no, this is not enough for some moaners who still think we are shit because we lost a fucking game in basically 8 months.

There is an inbetween from 'ultimate performance' and 'sluggish'. Today esp 1st half we were relentless for most the half. Rapid attacking which isnt easy against 10 b&w buses built like boxers. 2nd half was more about a balance between conserving energy and rapid attacks. The slower moments have an importance two fold: move the opposition around to tire them and lull them into dropped concentration levels and secondly conserves our energy before launching a series of attacks. No team can attack for 90 mins, not even us. The match I saw we were great for the main part except a few mins of sloppiness in the 2nd half. Just the way I saw it.

I won a ton from Betfair on Kun's perfect hatrick (head, rt & left feet), thanks. Would have doubled that if we had also kept a clean sheet.

Good win, comfy win the end. No drama seen and nothing to be tits out about. Is there any moaning and groaning on here? If so, there shouldnt be. We had a game to play against a PL team that isnt very good but it was the last game on a Saturday, which I dont like as players always seem a bit off in them. We won, without issue.

Hardly worrying mate, we have the 2nd best defensive record

I find it annoying rather than worrying. We should have only conceded about 13 or 14 goals this season, and Eddie should be nailed on for the golden glove, if not for a preponderance to conceding stupid goals at stupid times.

Ultimately things like that don't actually count for anything, but it feels like the team is not getting the reward for what is a fantastic defence 95% of the time, because they let in cheap goals. Also it sort of kills the unbeatable aura we've been building up when you let teams like Newcastle back into a game after making them look like a pub team for 70 minutes.
