United solid defence? They've conceded 23 goals only Sheff Utd, WBA, Leeds and Palace have conceded more, that's not a solid defence mate.I feel the same but obviously hope I’m wrong. I just don’t see us lifting the trophy, not right now anyways, given how our competitors are playing. United seem to be able to score a few goals every game while having a solid defence, and Liverpool look as strong as last season even without Van Dijk which I thought would be impossible. They have a way of picking up 3p no matter how fucking bad they played. We don’t have that right now.
But as we know, defence is what wins you the titles and in that department we look solid.
Exactly.
All the best pal.
Ominous for the other teams they meantThe only club in the whole premiership that moves up the league table, is described as "ominous" by BT Spite.
Yep, makes me laugh when people call him a defensive midfielder.Gundo was positioned further forward today, and as a result, both him and Rodri looked miles better.
Yep.As I said in a previous post,I wouldn't mind winning every game 1-0A popular opinion from rival fans over the past few seasons, has been that City need to be at their absolute best(full intensity) or they drop points. This is the kind of performance that turns that theory on it's head. Coupled with the clean sheet, defensive solidity, overall control of the game, I'm taking this as a positive. All teams need that knack of grinding out results, as others have said, the result never looked in doubt. I'm getting less concerned about us sitting on a 1-0 lead too, even despite the WBA game because the team is becoming more comfortable doing it.
