It obviously is a big lift for everyone at City that Liverpool dropped points. I willl enjoy it as I should after we manage 3 points.

We did it back in 2019 after Spurs knocked us out of the CL due to that last minute VAR decision that gave me the same temporary Ill feeling as it did on Wednesday. We won our remaining games in style starting by beating the same Spurs side a few days later.
 
Today we are going to have to be like that Boxer that strolls across the ring and launches the big Haymaker as the bell rings for round one . We need to take this game away from Newcastle and more importantly the officials as soon as possible, otherwise we are going to see reffing of a dubious standard today . dippers fucked up last night so pigmol will do their best to give them a hand today .
 
Need to have a top atmosphere today.
Score early and they will crumble, they have nothing to play for sinjusr kill that hope.
Just hope we have enough in the tank after Wednesday night
Be nice to bag 3/4 and go ahead on goal difference as well

Spot on. Some different players but they've shown mentality before. We did Spurs then went and won at the swamp, and every remaining game.

A huge boost last night. Go out and batter Newcastle today in front of a rocking Etihad and get 3pts clear with better goal difference.

Klopp might throw the towel in against Villa and rest players for the FA Cup instead.
