Someone was reporting that he may have played his last game for this season which is more than a bit concerning for us.Same. Was there any word from Pep on Walker?

That’s the spirit mate. The team should take heed of your efforts and give us an extra 10% today. If it helps, mate, I fucked up so badly in my change I've only just landed in Manchester having supposed to have landed last night. Off home to change my shirt and back into the ground, there's a league to be won!
We ain’t going to be in third gear. We can’t afford to be. The thought of that Maximus geezer running at our defence scares the the living daylights out of me. This will be a nerve jangler for sure. Newcastle will be all out to prove themselves.Good question... I'll happily take a 2-0 win in third gear.
I think if Pep wants to stick with a 4/3/3, we have to have Sterling playing wide right in the front 3 to drop back into midfield when we’re out of possession and support Cancelo who will be RB and Foden has to play wide left and do like wise for Ake/Zinc at LB. Play Jesus up top.The biggest concern for me is that the front 2 or 3 have genuine pace for Newcastle which could cause us a lot of problems.
We need to stick any chances we have (I`m certain there will be plenty) into that onion bag.
Down to you you Blue Boys ... please don`t fuck it up.
That wouldn't be a surprise as he really pushed it on Wednesday.Someone was reporting that he may have played his last game for this season which is more than a bit concerning for us.
One of my biggest gripes with Pep (and I hardly have any) but for me Jack is totally wasted over on that left hand flank and he seems more comfortable when moving inside.I agree with you that I can see both playing today and also Cancelo needs to up his game at defending. For me he`s a far better player as a midfielder but we`re always overloaded there. ;)I think if Pep wants to stick with a 4/3/3, we have to have Sterling playing wide right in the front 3 to drop back into midfield when we’re out of possession and support Cancelo who will be RB and Foden has to play wide left and do like wise for Ake/Zinc at LB. Both Sterling and Foden have the work rate and pace to provide that extra support to our midfield/FBs. I fear what might transpire if we were to see Mahrez on the right and Jack on the left.
