If it helps, mate, I fucked up so badly in my change I've only just landed in Manchester having supposed to have landed last night. Off home to change my shirt and back into the ground, there's a league to be won!
That’s the spirit mate. The team should take heed of your efforts and give us an extra 10% today.

Good question... I'll happily take a 2-0 win in third gear.
We ain’t going to be in third gear. We can’t afford to be. The thought of that Maximus geezer running at our defence scares the the living daylights out of me. This will be a nerve jangler for sure. Newcastle will be all out to prove themselves.

Winning by 1 goal today will make the goal difference the same but goal scored will be in their favour unless we win 4-3. Obviously you win titles by having more points, but having a better GD has a mathematical and a psychological advantage. So, assuming we get an early opening goal, whilst it may seem prudent to hang on, going for the second or third would very advantageous in this title run in.

The biggest concern for me is that the front 2 or 3 have genuine pace for Newcastle which could cause us a lot of problems.
We need to stick any chances we have (I`m certain there will be plenty) into that onion bag.
Down to you you Blue Boys ... please don`t fuck it up.
I think if Pep wants to stick with a 4/3/3, we have to have Sterling playing wide right in the front 3 to drop back into midfield when we’re out of possession and support Cancelo who will be RB and Foden has to play wide left and do like wise for Ake/Zinc at LB. Play Jesus up top.

Both Sterling and Foden have the work rate and pace to provide that extra support to our midfield/FBs. I fear what might transpire if we were to see Mahrez on the right and Jack on the left.

I am feeling confident. Crowd will be up for it and best way for players to get over Madrid is to win today and win the title. They will be bang up for it I am sure. Some tiredness in a few but I hope for a dominant performance.

Someone was reporting that he may have played his last game for this season which is more than a bit concerning for us.
That wouldn't be a surprise as he really pushed it on Wednesday.

Still - I'd be concerned if we had the CL final ahead, but with just four games against good but not absolute top level opponents, I'd hope we can cope.

One of my biggest gripes with Pep (and I hardly have any) but for me Jack is totally wasted over on that left hand flank and he seems more comfortable when moving inside.I agree with you that I can see both playing today and also Cancelo needs to up his game at defending. For me he`s a far better player as a midfielder but we`re always overloaded there. ;)
Tactics right and take our chances and hopefully we get the result we need.
