Maybe if they'd been dropping points and we'd dropped more, but we've only dropped 8 since Christmas that isn't unnacceptable it's pretty good. Just that they haven't dropped a single point since Christmas apart from against us. Thats exceptional and matches our run that built the lead in the first place.

No team news bar kev is ok ,they were not interested in this game
No news is good news so they say!

Gutted after the result the other night, mainly for the Club, Pep and the team, who need to win it, if only to shut the media up,even though its a over hyped trophy. To make things even worse my journey back turned out to be the worst I've had on my City travels.
After a good nights kip last night, woke up thinking we've still got a great chance of winning the trophy that shows
the true benchmark of a great team, forget these knockout cups, its the Premier League.
Come on City!

You didn't happen to be on the afternoon flight back to Stansted, by any chance?

% chances of a win in remaining fixtures including Newcastle

CITY
Newcastle 84%
Wolves 77%
West Ham 65%
Villa 70%

Liverpool
Spurs 67%
Villa 61%
Southampton 75%
Wolves 79%

So we have the advantage next two games and they have it for the last two.

Contrary to what most people think the highest chance of dropped points of all the games is Villa away for Liverpool (unless Gerrard helps them!)
If you multiply those 8 percentages, it says the chance of all 8 being won is only 7%.

Which means there's a 93% chance that City or Liverpool (or both) drop points during this run-in. Please God it's not City.

City v Villa will be 80% chance at a bare minimum

Why would our chances against Villa at home be less than their chances against Wolves at home or our chances v Wolves away ?

Just watched the Kings of the Hill documentary on City Plus and its got me thinking how back then we couldn't have dreamed of being in this position! Yes, we're coming off the back of a hugely disappointing result and there's pressure and media criticism etc, but what an incredible time to be a City fan. I can't wait for the Newcastle game!
