We owe Vinney one last chance to go to a World Cup, so, sadly, he & the club should now manage his injury accordingly, by playing him in as few league games as possible from here on in, to maximise his chances of doing so
 
Played within ourselves for the last 2 games , six points , five goals scored and none conceded, would say its perfect game and squad management

Nice of Sly to turn our win against Newcastle some how into a defeat against Liverpool for VVD....
 
One or two players were under par today but surely can be forgiven for having an off day, especially in the busy Christmas period. A nervy last 10 minutes but never really threatened other than Gayle's header. Completely dominated and got the 3 points. I'd have taken 1-0 before the game, a wins a win!
Well done Blues.

Yeah Halsey on Bein Sport rightly pointed out that if a defender purposely blocks a shot then the attacker is played onside and if there was VAR then it would have been a goal as whilst most fans don’t know the rule, every official does.
 
Not our best performance of the season, not that we really needed to get out of 1st gear, or neutral for that matter! I'm sure if we really needed to, we would've stepped it up, but this was more a game of nullifying the threat, and getting the win without exerting too much energy over the busy Xmas period.
Job done, nice goal from Sterling, Aguero, and KDB unfortunate not to add to the score.
Real shame about Vinny, I just hope he can go out on a high this season, get a run of games, lift the trophy, and play in the World Cup with KDB.
He should remain at City, and learn as much as he can from Pep.
