I apologise If what I wrote sounded too critical. It was just me writing thoughts down.

It’s really hard to stay on top these days (minus Pep’s genius). The analysis teams see every foible and weakness, so perpetual evolvement is needed.

Don't apologise, Howe has really pissed me off so far this season and every one of us is entitled to an opinion. Life would be really boring if we all saw things the same way and had the same opinions.

I will not call for his head this season unless we're in or around the bottom which I don't think will happen but I might be more open to a change at the end of the season if things don't improve. I do think Howe deserves the full season to prove himself, that and I don't see any other manager who gets me excited other than yours who will not be coming to us.

I agree. At this time I have no problem with who we have brought in, my only problem is the way they’ve been handled so far. Things might start to change for the better soon as we have to start sharing minutes around which will give new players a chance to shine.

Think its clear Newcastle overperformed and 3 of the "big 6" underperformed last year (OK 2, Chelsea are just trash in general)

Howe is a pretty good manager but he's not gonna mix not with the best of the best

Newcastle fans will have to be patient, Rome isn't built in a day and their squad is a long way off one who can get top 4 year in year out, especially these days when any club can spend £200mil in a single window

They do need to keep getting into Europe, even if that's the Europa/Europa Conference to keep that momentum

I think there’s some quality there, but as we have discovered over the last 15 years, you don’t go from relegation fodder to title contenders overnight.

It takes time to build a strong squad.

I think we're quite good but still need a lot of quality, we're probably good enough to reach Europe again this season, even with the extra CL games. What we have been good at is with our physicality since Howe came in but that's been missing this season, until today. We’re absolutely useless at breaking down teams who get a lot of players behind the ball so we defiantly need quality up front.

As for todays result, the promoted teams are really poor this year and I can’t see where the first win for any of them is coming from.

We need to qualify for Europe again this season and then we’ll really grow because we have a lot of new money coming in to the club and we will spend it and more likely than not, spend it well.

You're right but we will become a threat. 2 years ago we were 17th in the league after 6 games and heading towards the bottom which we actually hit a few games later. I think it was game 17 before we won our first game and and then eventually finishing in 11th place after being previously written off.

The next summer transfer window will be huge for us and I hope that we target players rather than going for players because they are on the market.
