I would go down the Newcastle are shit route first.Newcastle are showing how effective the cartel is in protecting the teams in red.
This is a club that is currently struggling but has money to spend (the source of this money is another matter to consider but irrelevant in this context. If they were owned by a local businessman the same rules would apply).
The rules mean they are unable to invest and so it means they cannot challenge. In what other business (which for better or worst football is) would allow this?
No wonder the establishment hate City.
Newcastle are currently rubbish. I’m no fan of them but FFP means they don’t have the opportunity to invest. So how are they expected to improve? Or should they know their place?I would go down the Newcastle are shit route first.
Peter Beardsley reminds me of David Silva. He was that good I think
Thats why FFP was brought in to create a level playing field. When Moores family ploughed gambling money into da pool then they dominated. We couldnt compete..we ploughed loads in we dominated..football generally has rewarded the richest..from the early investment at Villa by tge Scottish bloke to Bank of England vlub success for Arsenal in the 30's to littlewoods. Even class of 92 were supported by huge txt players. I expect we will suffer at the hands of FFP and rightly so if proven guilty but it was all about trying to catch up. FFP is meant to stop that cycle...won't thoughNewcastle are currently rubbish. I’m no fan of them but FFP means they don’t have the opportunity to invest. So how are they expected to improve? Or should they know their place?
We shall see.

Been done to death but football is the only industry that forbids inward investment it’s akin to a corner shop owner being prevented from investing by the big 5 supermarketsNewcastle are currently rubbish. Exactly this.Been done to death but football is the only industry that forbids inward investment it’s akin to a corner shop owner being prevented from investing by the big 5 supermarkets
NUFC can only grow slowly by revenue increasing, but they have even put measures in place to stall that, they need to concentrate on success on the pitch which increases prize money and development of the academy to fund transfers. One option they are looking at is development of SJP or a re stadium to progress match day revenue but even that will be some years down the line

Has another Newcastle fan been trying to punch a horse or is that an old picture being used by the Telegraph?
