I know KDB was uniquely amazing when he came on but I thought Rodri was nearly as deserving of praise for those 20ish minutes.

KDB brings out the best in soany other players. Rodri, Foden, Kovacic, Walker and Alvarez all looked like different players after his introduction. Wow all round.

Agreed 100%. The pass was eye of a needle stuff, but the composure Bobb showed to take the pass down and glide past Dubravka, at that late stage, was stunning. His lanky compatriot would have been proud of it.

I could sit here for an hour and watch that on a loop, the lad has quicker feet than Foden and that's saying something. What a little stunner he is.

What a great game.

It was so refreshing to see a team come out and have a go at us, rather than putting ten men behind the ball for the entire match. Credit to the Toon for their contribution to this spectacle.

Five great goals and 100 minutes of brilliant entertainment. We deserved the victory, but we were made to work hard for it.

It was fantastic to see the pale Pele back on the field, and he didn’t take long to make his presence felt. What a great strike for his goal and it was a typically brilliant ball for Oscar to put away the winner.

Have a go ?..... They camped in most of the game. Thoroughly deserved win against that kick and rush pub team.

Wow what a cameo from King Kev and Bobb! The goal and pass was just world class, calmness and vision which is something we've been missing all season. Take a bow Bobb too, great run and fast feet he's going to be a superstar that lad.
On a negative note, but it has to be said Pep HAS to sort out what passes for our defence! It's shocking and we have to score three every game and even then it's not always enough. Gvardiol will never be a left back so long as he has a hole in his arse. I'm hoping he's a better centre back because he's looked poor so far. Sort that out, get Kev and Haaland fit and playing and we'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

I couldn’t watch it all but there was one period in the second half when Walker was on the wing one second then I blinked and he was in the middle running toward the goal passing the ball superbly to someone as he went. I had to rewind to check it was definitely him!!
The hug Pep gave him at the end was heartwarming. :-)

You could see what that victory meant, not only to Pep, but to the whole squad, by their post-match celebrations.

I doubt that there is a closer-knit group in the Premier League.
