I hope you’re right but that midfield 3 is fucking atrocious. When have we ever been in a top 4 battle under Pep? Patience my friend, he’ll find a solution.

He will also continue with that ridiculous high line defence when leading away from home, it’s Peps achilles heal as far as I’m concerned.Pep will continue with that midfield as without Rodri we can’t play a single 6.
That would be a mistake...Pep will continue with that midfield as without Rodri we can’t play a single 6.
He scored against Chelsea with about 5 minutes to go to seal the game for us.Kovacic is only good for 30 mins per game. He offers nothing creatively and consistently flattens out and hour into a game, earlier if/when he gets the yellow.
Walker isn’t there for us. Wasn’t great last season and looks on the decline. It’s not his legs but his focus is dogshit.
We’ve a few players(the above and Dias) who look surprised when balls are passed to them, you’d swear this Pep ball was new.
Can’t do that again and expect to win a title, if we don’t have a creator in there you take Erling out of the game.
What it Kyles fault that we didn't do enough to win the game. It’s not scapegoating when the bloke is costing us goals game after game now.
People have a right to call it out.
Appropriate usernamePep talked about finding a solution. If he thinks that midfield 5 and specifically that midfield 3 is the solution, we can forget the league and we will be in a top 4 battle.
I’m sick of seeing Bernardo grazing out on the wing with his thumb up his arse. He played the last 10 mins in the middle of the park and was the best CM on the pitch. Kovacic has to play, I don’t think anyone would suggest otherwise but sticking Gundo and Rico next to him, gives us the slowest, weakest, most negative midfield this squad can put out on the pitch. I’m not having Rico playing at 8 in a ridiculously weakened midfield. Wanna put him there with Rodri and Foden/Bernie alongside? Might get away with it…not in that 3. It’s fucking suicidal. Rico is fine when we have 70% of the ball. When it’s basketball it’s like watching an U14s playing men’s football.
That set up today suggested we would create next-to-nothing and that’s exactly how it panned out. I’m not sure how Pep expected anything from what we got.
