Dont anyone moan about the atmosphere at the Etihad again that was one of the quietest home crowds I have ever 'heard'.

Great win for us, thought barcodes were pretty shite, going down if they catty on like this, pretty dirty, whinging, diving/play acting bunch. Some of their key players not as good as they think they are, anyways, great win for us, c'mon spuds!

Job done. But a bit of a meh performance, but hey; pocket the three points and move on. 6/10 performance. Newcastle were spirited, but painfully limited. That opening goal was an utter farce.

a bit of a scruffy first half as we got dragged into a physical battle with both Newcastle and their fanss getting behind them.
Took a lot more control in the second half when Newcastle changed their formation as well.
Cancello very good again as was Rodri (baring one short pass int he first half)......Jesus and Sterling never stopped battling and pressing...Bernardo as well taking the fight to Newcastle all game as well.

Great result...good performance in the second half....
Chelsea dropped 2 pts as well......just need spurs to try not to be too spursy and actually put up a fight aginast the scousers as now

A really professional performance from the whole team. I was a bit edgy at 2 up in H1 because of the fouls Newcastle were getting away with and the start to H2 wasn’t brilliant but as usual Pep shows us why he’s the best in the business......

Overall very happy with the result and the uptick in H2 performance. No injuries, and we are looking unstoppable right now.
