Fair point. But looking at it several times, it looks very, very much as though the Newcastle player had ample time to just jump over Ederson's legs. It's not exactly what I call cleaning someone out. I suspect that it was judged on that. It's a tough call, and I've seen them given. But I don't think it's that outrageous.
Would have won anyway, so this is an angels on the head of a pin argument, in my opinion.

Even after all this success year in year out I’m still slightly amazed and find it so so enjoyable that we can go to an away ground and just stroll around in total control of the game for almost the full 90mins.

Delighted with the 3 points. Although we were 2-0 up in the first half it was incredibly frustrating we were very sloppy given the ball away cheaply and making the wrong decisions. Second half we took more control of the game and let the ball do the work. Newcastle weren't going to keep up that tempo for 90 minutes. Cancelo was magnificent again along with Bernardo Silva.
