It's been obvious to me for ages and I'm not being paid millions to work it out
We're being caught out with a ball over the top, not because our defenders are at fault, it's because the midfield isn't putting enough pressure on the opposition when they are in possession
I agree with you but remember we beat Chelsea comfortably in the end and they are one of the most high energy teams in the Premier League.

Hes a Scouser from Manc isnt he? If hes a rag he'll be jizzing himself everytime Bruce looks at him...

Happy to be corrected, but also concerned why the Barcodes havent protested a manc ref is officiating.
My boss knows him, defo a rag.

Pep really does love Gundogan, I honestly think he's the first name on the teamsheet nowadays such is Pep's admiration for him. I said a few weeks ago that Foden surely has to start around the Christmas period or that bit before, because games are coming thick and fast, I'm just not so sure now, he's obviously done something wrong which has annoyed Pep. Starting him against Oxford in the cup will be another piss take, he's a lot better than that.
Let's hope the lads start putting in some decent performances so we can say, ok perhaps Foden can wait that little bit longer.

He’s the key today.

He looked a bit tired against Chelsea but came on full of energy against Shakhtar. Hopefully he’ll be bang on form today.

Love him, worship him, but he's in a decline now and I don't think that will be arrested.

Is that good enough for the Barcodes though? Should be, let's see.

My boss knows him, defo a rag.
He’s one of the United supporting refs who’s actually said he’s a United supporter.

My mate went to school with Taylor and while he is actually an Alty fan, and was when he was younger too, his wife kids and brother are Rags...

And Mason is a total Rag!

Everyone can see this now.

It's not like when we had Toure though and no alternative. Now we have Foden who can run all day so it's not too bad a situation.

Completely agree, our early shortcomings in Europe were pretty much down to Toure playing at the base and teams making sure he couldn't come short and turn on the ball.

Funnily enough, it was Klopp's Dortmund who first opened my eyes to that Achilles heel.

I'd agree Foden can certainly solve a multitude of problems straight away, although it would seem there is even sentiment from Pep towards Silva playing as often as he still does.

I'd also argue that Kevin is certainly nowhere near the fitness levels he needs at the moment.

At times, he even looks overweight, certainly heavier, same goes for Gundo?

I'd highly doubt, however, Pep and his huge backroom team would stand for that!

Just going to post the same mate..!

Every time we're on without fail we're dissected and every goal we concede is put down to our shit defending..

Can't remember the dippers or the rags having a such negative slant put on them pre match when they're on..!

****"s..!
It might be because quite a few of our goals against come from comedy capers which makes individual players look stupid at defending.

If typical City still exists, Almiron scores a hat full today. Still not scored for them has he?

9-8 to City, Almiron all 8 for them
