Not a chance. Pep's already said (in not so many words) that we need to mitigate against a repeat injury and protect Kev from his own enthusiasm. Couple more off the bench I reckon, then a couple of 60 minuters and maybe a rest game chucked in somewhere, before we let him have a full 90. We want the boy peaking as we start to hit March.....

I did like how Pep stressed the playing time after an injury is not linear. Just because he’s did 30 doesn't mean he is now is ready for 45. It may be 45 then 15 and then a week off. And it’s less about the importance of the game and more about what the player can handle at any given time - and unfortunately that may not always line up with what games we think we need certain players.
